Duke-American Transmission Co. is proposing the Zephyr Power Transmission Project to connect wind energy resources in Wyoming to communities in the southwestern United States. This approximately 850-mile line will run from Chugwater, WY to the Eldorado Valley, just south of Las Vegas.
Zephyr's proposed route needs your input to help minimize human and environmental impacts. There will be a public meeting in Craig. If you are unable to attend but would like to learn more about the project and how to get involved, visit the listed website.
