Event Description:

Yampa River State Parks is offering the fun Junior Ranger Program and Park Programs on weekends throughout the summer. Park programs are for all ages. Guest speakers will be present at some programs. Times and activities will vary each week.  Activities are free to participate in. 
Schedule for June:
June 21, 7:30 p.m., Bird Walk
June 22, 10 a.m., Junior Ranger Wilderness Survival
                7:30 p.m. Fun and Fitness Walk
June 23, 10:30 a.m., Kids Game Hour
June 28, 10 a.m., Tracking Your Prey
June 29, 10 a.m., Fun and Fitness Walk
June 30, 10:30 a.m., Monsters of the Yampa River ponds.

 

Location:
The Yampa River State Park is located 15 miles east of Craig on Highway 40.

Fees/Admission:
A daily or annual parks pass is required. Daily passes are $7 per day. Annual passes are $70 or $60 for seniors.
