Yampa River Cleanup

Volunteer check-in starts at 10 am meeting at Loudy-Simpson Boat Ramp, Craig. Once you are assigned a spot, you are free to head there and clean up the area. There will be a rollaway for all trash collected at Loudy-Simpson, provided by the City of Craig. The clean-up takes place from 10 am-noon. Celebration & Lunch starting at noon. We will wrap up the cleanup and celebrate with lunch, cold beer provided by Yampa Valley Brewing Co., and soft drinks. There will be a couple of informational tents set up to learn more about the Yampa River! *Volunteers: please wear adequate footwear for walking along the riverbank, bring thick gloves, and other items you might need to keep you comfortable for a few hours. Expect mosquitoes, so long sleeve shirts and bug spray is suggested. Trash bags and gloves will be provided by Good Vibes River Gear.
