Event Description:
Wyman Museum Summer Nature Camp is a camp for two different age groups. The goal of the camp is to get students excited about science and nature while learning about some of our local ecosystems. Wyman Museum is located on 189 acres of mountain grassland and wetland ecosystems including a pond, osprey nests, a permanent elk resident named Junior, the largest leopard frog population known in Colorado, and an abundance of nature waiting to be explored. Topics will include plants, insects, frogs, fish, birds of prey, elk, microscopic organisms, wetland ecology, and fun science. All materials are provided. Kids only need to bring good walking shoes/boots and a sense of adventure.

Wyman Museum, approximately 4 miles east of Craig

Kids ages 9-13 meet every Tuesday from 10-11:30 a.m. for 7 weeks from June 10-July 22.
Kids ages 4-8 meet every Tuesday from 12:30 -1 :30 p.m. (a parent or adult must attend with this group)
Museum hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri., 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Sat/Sun 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed on Wednesdays.
