Event Description:
Wood carving festival were artists set up and start carving several days before judging. The public is free to wander through the park and watch the progress. On Sunday all carvings are judged and cash prizes awarded. A fun event with food and craft vendors. Free entertainment and music concerts in the afternoons & evenings.
This is the 8th annual Whittle the Wood Rendezvous at Craig City Park. The day begins with the woodcarving competition and concludes with a free outdoor concert featuring 70s rock band Rare Earth, plus special guests Incognito! Incognito starts at 3 pm, announcement of the woodcarving awards at 5pm, and Rare Earth begins at 6pm. There will also be crafts and great food from 9am to 8pm.
The open container ordinance will be waived during the event.
NO DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK DURING THE
