Across the West, state wildlife agencies are seeing declines in mule deer populations. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is embarking on a process to bring together sportsmen, landowners, outfitters, biologists, wildlife managers, other state agencies, federal agencies, local elected officials and any other interested members of the public to discuss the issues facing the West Slope mule deer and discuss solutions. While many ideas exist, a focused effort by all groups can make a difference. CPW seeks public input on a Colorado West Slope Mule Deer Strategy to work towards increasing deer populations.
Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife for the Colorado West Slope Mule Deer Strategy Statewide Summit to discuss & provide input on the draft Colorado West Slope Mule Deer Strategy. The Strategy will guide agency efforts to work towards increasing mule deer populations in Western Colorado.
