Event Description:
Join us, Friends of Northwest Colorado, The Wilderness Society & US Fish & Wildlife Service at Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge, as we celebrate Earth Day by planting trees to help save a forest. We will carpool to Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge. Meet Refuge staff who will provide information about the history and purpose of the project. Come help to prepare, plant and fence trees as we all work together to protect wildlife, habitat & our western customers & culture for future generations. Carpools will be departing from Craig & Steamboat. Overnight camping options are available. You must register ahead of time at conservationco.org
