Name: Roundtable/Workshop on ''How to Detect Fraudulent Documents''
Date: October 27, 2009
Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
We are pleased to announce our Winter Roundtable/Workshop sponsored by the Craig Workforce Center & Northwest Region Workforce Board. With the huge influx of immigrant workers coming into our counties and the rise in identity theft in our nation, we have seen an increase of highly technical documents that are not legal. The Patriot Act is very specific on what is required of Financial Institutions. In order to comply with these requirements and protect your institution, all financial institution employees need to have the tools and knowledge to identify those documents that are legal. As a service to you and your organization, we are offering a roundtable on how to detect fraudulent documents, specifically designed for financial institutions. We hope that you will join us. The presenter will be special agent Steve Turza, from Homeland Security.
