Recreation Plan for South Sand Wash Open OHV Area Public Scoping Meetings

Craig Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Colorado Outdoor Coalition, and the Bureau of Land Management Little Snake Field Office are kicking off a process to complete a Recreation Area Management Plan and associated Environmental Assessment for the South Sand Wash Open OHV Area.

The process for the Plan for the South Sand Wash Open OHV Area will fully involve the entire community to define improvements to achieve the desired vision for the area.

The public is invited to attend two open houses and provide comments. These first meetings will provide information on the project schedule and purpose, and gather feedback from the public on future goals and implementation for the Open OHV Area. Information materials will be the same at both meetings.
