Event Description:
The EPA is holding public hearings on its proposed "Clean Power Plan" ruling, which targets coal-fired power plants and the coal industry. The Craig Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Friends of Coal to sponsor bus transportation to a rally at the Capitol in support of the coal industry. Residents are invited to take advantage of complimentary transportation to the rally in Denver or to join in via teleconference from the Clarion Inn.

The rally to support affordable power and strong economies will be at the Lincoln Park Veteran's Memorial on the west side of the Capitol building.

Attend the rally via Skype at the Clarion & Suites, 300 S. Hwy 13 in Craig.
Date/Time Information:
Rally:
Bus leaves from Craig at 7 a.m. and from Steamboat Springs at 8 a.m.
Rally begins at noon
Speakers and entertainment at 1 p.m.
Rally ends at 3 p.m.

Teleconference:
Stop by anytime between noon and 3. There will be hot dogs and snacks.
