Colorado Environmental Coalition, The Wilderness Society and Friends of Northwest are working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service at Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge to restore Cottonwood forest along the Green River. We will transplant trees and put up protective fencing. We meet in Steamboat or Craig then we travel to the Refuge. At the Refuge we spend time learning about the area, the project and the staff. All volunteers, ages and abilities are welcome. Registration is required.
