Event Description:
The Colorado Environmental Coalition, The Wilderness Society, Friends of Northwest Colorado & the US Fish and Wildlife Service  is hosting Cottonwood tree planting work days at Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge along the Green River. Spend a day or two in autumn splendor under the cottonwoods. A great family event and wildlife watch opportunity, all ages and abilities are encouraged to join the event.

The hosts will be providing snacks, lunch and the necessary tools for the project and carpooling from Craig. The refuge has two campgrounds with pit toilets and there are a number of camping locations (developed and undeveloped) in the vicinity.
Location:
Park at the Craig City Park and meet in the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way, before leaving. 
Date/Time Information:
Departing and returning to Craig and Steamboat both days, and camping is optional but available.
