the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced Quality Improvement Awards to 1,273 health centers across the U.S. Funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, health centers will use these awards to improve the quality, efficiency, and value of the health care they provide.
Northwest Colorado Health received the Health Center Quality Leader for providing high quality care resulting in improved health for patients at clinics in Moffat and Routt Counties. This award places Northwest Colorado Health in the top 20 percent of health centers in the nation for service and quality achievements. The organization has also earned accrediation as a Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
An award ceremony will be held Monday, August 26. Remarks will be made by Northwest Colorado Health staff. HRSA Regional Administrator will present the award.
