Across the West, state wildlife agencies are seeing declines in mule deer populations. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is embarking on a process to bring together sportsmen, landowners, outfitters, biologists, wildlife managers, other state agencies, federal agencies, local elected officials and any other interested members of the public to discuss solutions. While many ideas exist, a focused effort by all groups can make a difference. CPW seeks public input on a Colorado West Slope Mule Deer Strategy to guide agency efforts to work towards increasing deer populations. Attend a public meeting to learn more about mule deer and give CPW input on a Colorado West Slope Mule Deer Strategy. All meetings are open to the public. All meetings are hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and The Keystone Center (an independent facilitator)
