The Moffat County Libraries' Summer Reading Program begins June 1 and runs through August 13. You can sign up any time during the program. The reading program offers reading levels, prizes and activities for every age group, from infant to adult.
Youth (ages 0 to 5th grade): The theme is (Make a Splash! Read) and the emphasis is on having fun reading! Story times at the Moffat County Fairgrounds picnic area, crafts and game nights are just a few of the fun things we have planned.
Teens (6th to 12th grades): The theme is (Make Waves) and the emphasis is on challenge. We've raised the bar for older readers and added bigger prizes to win. We will host a weekly Youth Club with cool crafts and activities geared toward teens.
Adults (ages 16 and up): The theme is (Water your Mind! Read) and the
emphasis is on keeping it simple. we'll sign you up with the click of a mouse. Then, for every book you read, simply put your name in a drawing for the prize of your choice. It's that easy!
