Event Description:
We are preparing a custom cookbook to help commemorate the 100 year Moffat County Fair to be celebrated in August of 2018. We are currently collecting recipes to include in this professionally published cookbook. Please submit your favorite recipes following the instructions and using the attached form. The publishing company requires consistency, so please stick to the format provided on the form. We hope to be able to use all recipes but if we have duplicates or exceed the printing capacity we may have to sort through the submitted recipes. Your name and location will be printed with each of your recipes.
We are customizing this cookbook to represent local agriculture and as such the recipe categories are designed to meet the “seasons” of our area. Please submit your recipes in one of the categories listed below and also note the traditional subcategory.
We will have the cookbook available during the 2018 Moffat County Fair for sale for $20.00. Note on your recipe submission if you would like to pre-order your copy(s) of the cookbook. You can pre-pay for your order and pick it up at fair or reserve your copies and we will have them ready for you to pay that week. We also have gift certificates available to use prior to the cookbook arrival in August.
