Info for BBQ contestants:
- No entry fee
- Any type of meat allowed *will have locally produced (Moffat County) category
-May prepare on-site or bring to the event *let us know if you need a cooking spot
- Plan on samples for 100 people
- Each BBQer will receive a participant item
- Proceeds From ticket sales will be paid out to contestant winners 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and local meat 1st
- MoCo cattlewomen will provide sample trays to serve your product.
- How to enter: Telephone entries will be accepted for the contest through Monday, Aug 2nd. To enter call MoCo Cattlewomen.
Info for BBQ Voters:
- BBQ sample plates will be sold for $10 each and then you will be able to vote for your overall winner as well as the local meat category winner
- MoCo cattlewomen will also have an option to make the BBQ samples a meal and will serve drinks and side dishes separately for a nominal fee
- Voting will close at 7PM and the winner will be announced during the family fun rodeo.
