The Mental Health First Aid program, presented by Colorado West Mental Health, is an interactive 12-hour course to provide skills around mental health literacy. This program helps individuals in the community better understand common mental health issues by introducing participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, building understanding of their impact, providing skills for emergency situations with an overview of common treatments. This is a two day course and is open to the public.
