Name: Men's Voices Against Violence
Date: August 28, 2012
Event Description:
Men’s Voices Against Violence in cooperation with Advocates-Crisis Support Services announces a community meeting to discuss violence against women. They invite you to join them in discussing issues surrounding violence of all types and the effects that it’s having on our community. They will start with a short introduction and will open the floor to those in attendance to voice opinions about the effects of the violence that surround us. Men’s Voices Against Violence is a group that gives nonviolent men the opportunity to stand up and make it known that they don’t think violence in any form is permissible and we’re working to stop violence such as domestic violence, sexual assault, verbal abuse etc. We are asking men to take a stand by publicly announcing that they will not be violent.
