Event Description:
Medicare open enrollment period starts Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7. This is the time to enroll in or switch plans. Your choice will take effect January 1, 2016. Most people will not be able to change plans again until the annual open enrollment period next year. A local non-profit "Medicare Ship" has counselors to help you navigate the 29 RX stand- alone Medicare plans. They have a special workshop on Oct. 29, from 11-2 p.m.
