Event Description:
The Colorado Health Institute (CHI) is offering a workshop on how to display health or population data about communities or regions in map format. Health professionals, grant writers, policymakers and others interested in visually displaying data about their communities are invited to register for this one-day hands-on session in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This is a beginner workshop introducing participants to the basics of using GIS software; no pre-existing knowledge of GIS is needed. A working understanding of Microsoft Windows is desirable.

Fees/Admission:
$100 per student registrant, $200 per registrant from a nonprofit organization or government agency, and $400 per registrant from a private business. Three or more representatives from one organization or business receive a 20 percent discount (not applicable for students).
