Event Description:

Joyce Phillips, retired speech therapist, has produced her first collection of poems, “Aspen Reflections”. She notes that, “Early in elementary school, poetry spoke to my soul.” She started writing poetry at 16 and now also writes short stories and is finishing two mystery novels. Phillips captures the essence and excitement of nature in vivid language in her poems and often carries a small notepad and pen in her pocket while fishing, hiking and camping in Northwest Colorado.
