The KIDS COUNT in Colorado! report is released each year by the Colorado Children’s Campaign and provides statewide and county-by-county data on a range of factors impacting child health, education and overall well-being. The 2013 KIDS COUNT report takes a closer look at how 25 of Colorado’s largest counties compare across 12 child well-being indicators. The goal of this year’s KIDS COUNT is to provide a clearer picture of how kids across Colorado—and locally—are faring and to provide local leaders and those who care about kids with the county-specific data and analysis they need to better serve their community’s children. We will also host a discussion about grassroots advocacy, with tips on how to successfully engage your local policy makers and make your voice be heard.
