Jeff Stoddard reads from his new children's book

Jeffery Stoddard has just published his second book, "Skid", a wonderful sequel to his beloved Pete & Pillar book. While "Pete and Pillar: The Big Rain" tells the story of friendship between Pete (a great diesel truck) and Pillar (a bulldozer) who, according to truck yard rules are not supposed to be friends, "Skid" tells the story of a little skidster who discovers that he doesn't have to be mighty and big, to be important. "Skid" is illustrated with Stoddard’s bold and bright color pictures; he has also created a coloring book about the machines in the stories. Stoddard is a Moffat County graduate. He now lives and works in Colorado Springs, but will be in Craig to celebrate the holidays with his hometown and the release of this newest book. Jeffery Stoddard will read from his book and talk about its creation.
