Event Description:
Children dress as Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher or their favorite law enforcement person and enjoy a day of fishing. Age Groups: 1-6 7-12, all children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Note: Fishing can be with any kind of pole. The pond will be stocked for this event. Limit 4 fish per contestant. All youngsters must be registered before they can compete for the most authentic Becky Thatcher/Huck Finn costume, or to enter the fishing derby.
Licensing Requirements:
1. No License required, it is Colorado Free Fishing Day
2. Four fish limit
3. All state fishing requirements apply
4. No drugs or alcohol
