Join the Northwest Colorado Community Health Partnership (NCCHP) as we partner with The Colorado Trust to present a Health Equity Learning Series. NCCHP will be hosting four viewing parties in Steamboat Springs. For those interested in hearing experts discuss health equity please join us. There will also be opportunities for a community forum and discussion following the speakers. Brian Smedley, PhD, will share information about how states can address health equity through the Affordable Care Act, as well as other ways through which states and local communities can advance health equity. Dr. Smedley is Vice President and Director of the Health Policy Institute of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies in Washington, DC. The Institute explores disparities in health and develops policy recommendations to advance health equity. Space is limited, you must RSVP to attend. Lunch will be provided.
