Sunday at 6 p.m. there will be a community Pot Luck Dinner at the First Congregational Church at 630 Green St., to meet and greet the cyclists.
Monday Moffat County Fuller Center for Housing is having a Fuller Center Bike Adventure Build Day. Cyclists traveling more than 3,700 miles, will make their way through 13 states at an average of 76 miles per day. Riders will also have a opportunity to take a few days off from biking to work on 6 Fuller Center projects. Some 25 cyclists are coming to town to help us provide a "hand-up" to someone in need of work on their homes/property. This is part of the "Greater Blessing" program for low-income seniors, handicap, and veterans home owners. Projects may include yard work, painting, sealing, installing handicap items and other small miscellaneous items.
Why they ride? It's pretty simple:
1. To spread the work about the ministry
2. To raise money for the ministry's work
3. To develop new partners along the way
