Name: Feedback sought for downtown assessment
Date: March 18, 2013
Time: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
All Moffat County residents are asked to give their feedback on Craig's downtown during an assessment conducted by Downtown Colorado, Inc., March 18-19. There are several opportunities for feedback. See the schedule below to find a time that works for you.

The technical assistance program is designed to provide downtown revitalization and economic development technical assistance to Colorado communities hoping to support small business, create partnerships, and develop and sustain a viable and vibrant commercial downtown.

The costs for this assessment are being shared by USDA Rural Development, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the city of Craig.

The schedule will include a detailed tour of the downtown and the community and meetings with focus groups including local government officials, local organization representatives, business owners, property owners, and residents.  A two-day visit will conclude with a presentation to the public providing an assessment of the community as well as action steps.  Following a downtown assessment, a detailed hard-copy “to do” list is provided to assist the community in building local partnerships and generating some quick ways to build momentum.
