Event Description:
The Elks Club is hosting its annual basketball Hoop Shoot contest. After the Hoop Shoot, all participants and their parents are invited to the Elks Lodge for brunch and the awards ceremony.
The contest is open to three age groups with a boy division and a girls division:
8-9 year olds
10-11 year olds
12-13 year olds
The children who win first place in their age group will have the opportunity to travel to the district competition in Rifle, CO. The winners of districts travel to the state Hoop Shoot in Salida, CO. The winners of the state Hoop Shoot have the opportunity to travel to the national Hoop Shoot in Springfield, MA. The Elks club covers all travel cost for the winners.
