With another potentially harsh winter knocking on our door, come learn about some of the challenges facing our local wintering elk herd. This free presentation will feature a variety of speakers from Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the United States Forest Service. Topics for the evening will include elk biology and winter survival studies, the importance and location of elk winter ranges, treatments that can improve elk winter habitat, and a discussion on feeding.
