Event Description:
A public class teaching how to create a Registerd Mini Wildlife Habitat Area through the National Wildlife Federation.. You wil learn how to create a Butterfly garden, Hummingbird garden, and a natural habitat for birds. You will also learn how to use deer resistant plants that attract both hummingbirds/butterflies as well as the usage of deer resistant bird feeders. Also, alternative methods for feeding birds without attracting the deer by using alternative feed. Teacher Karen L Sirna, member of the National Wildlife Federation and owner of a Registered National Wildlife Mini Habitat Area.
