Event Description:
The city of Craig will again be offering free tire and appliance disposal during Craig Clean Up Days.
PLEASE NOTE - No used tires or appliances will be accepted if you are a commercial generator of these items.
Interstate Battery will be accepting used auto/commercial batteries for recycling. For every auto/commercial battery received, Interstate Battery will donate $5 for the Relay for Life. For more information, call Joanie at Interstate Battery at 826-4463.
We recycle electronics because heavy metals, such as lead can leach into the supply and mercury and PCB's can accumulate in the environment and damage nervous systems. The electronics recycling industry maintains accountability through third party auditing certification processes. The City of Craig uses LifeSpan Technologies which has e-Stewards certification, is R2 Rios, ISO, and NAID AAA certified - the most comprehensive certification portfolio in the electronics recycling industry.

Craig City Park on the 500 block of Washington Street.
Fees/Admission:
To dispose of electronics in an environmentally responsible way, it takes manowerp to disassemble each piece and remove the hazardous material safely. There is a fee for each piece you recycle. Prices may vary depending on size.
