Event Description:
The Craig Chamber of Commerce ambassadors invite you and your staff to a Chamber Mixer hosted by Memorial Regional Health. The mixer will be in the Infusion Center and the Infusion nurses will talk about the therapy services offered here in Craig.
Infusion Therapy
Come and explore the recently opened Medical Clinic space attached the hospital.
"Our Medical Clinic houses the following services: family practice, pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, spine, nutrition, infusion therapy, lab, imaging, behavioral health, cardiology, dermatology and visiting specialty clinics."
Infusion Therapy
Infusion therapy is when a patient requires administration of medication through a needle or catheter. According to the National Home Infusion Association, diseases that commonly call for infusion therapy include:
- Cancer and cancer-related pain
- Infections (when not responsive to oral antibiotics)
- Dehydration
- Disorders with the gastrointestinal system
- Congestive heart failure
- Immune deficiencies
