Event Description:
Moffat County United Way will provide the Bridges out of Poverty workshop. The workshop addresses poverty in a comprehensive way for employers, higher education, community organizations, social services and hospitals.
The workshop will address:
-An increase in knowledge and understanding of the poverty culture
-Learn key lessons in working with individuals in poverty
-Build skill sets for management to help guide employees in poverty
-Education about how front-line staff can better work with those in poverty
-How to improve treatment outcomes in health and behavioral care
-Job retention, build resources, improve outcomes and support those coming out of poverty
