Horizons Specialized Services and Yampa Valley Autism Program are “shining a light on autism” to raise awareness for autism by participating in Autism Speaks’ Light It Up Blue Campaign. On  in 50 children will be diagnosed this year with an autism spectrum disorder and its related disabilities. Autism is the fastest growing development disability in the United States!

The month of April is International Autism Awareness Month. You can participate and support their programs by wearing blue on April 2nd. They encourage all classroom teachers and students to wear something blue to show your support. They would love to publish your pictures! Their families need your help.
