Wood carvers from across the nation converge on Loudy-Simpson Park to turn tree stumps into works of art. The public is welcome to wander through the park and watch the progress. The Rendezvous culminates on Saturday with a festival where the entries are judged. Lots of food and craft vendors will be on hand. The City of Craig provides a concert in the park. NO DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK. There will be free shuttles from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., departing every 30 min from the O.P. Bar and Grill, J.W. Snakes, and Mather's Bar.
Coolers are welcome, but alcohol is not allowed. Coolers may be inspected at gates. There will be a beer garden at the event.
