Find new ways to love these special nocturnal neighbors.\n\n \n\nLadies of the Night Sky Ranger Talk\n\nLearn how the accomplishments of women in the fields of astronomy\, astrophysics\, and aeronautics ultimately connect all of us to the stars. \n\n \n\nNights without Lights Ranger Talk\n\nExplore the importance of the dark night sky and its preservation\, and imagine what it was like before there were lights at Dinosaur.\n\n \n\nSaving the Dark Documentary\n\nWhat do we lose when we lose sight of the stars? Improper lighting robs us of our night skies\, disrupts our sleep patterns\, and endangers nocturnal habitats. Saving the Dark is a film that explores the need to preserve night skies and ways to combat light pollution. \n\n \n\nStargazing with Telescopes \n\nThanks to many generous volunteer astronomers joining National Park Service and Utah State Park staff\, enjoy views of distant planets\, stars\, galaxies and more with your naked eye and through a variety of telescopes. Please limit flashlights to preserve night vision (red covers provided)\, and do not bring pets into the telescope areas.
