Event Description:
Over the Moon with Armadillo Ray
    During this interpretive program, we will hear a cute story about an armadillo named Ray and learn all about what causes the phases of the moon. You won't want to miss the fun activities.

Flashlight constellations
    Come join the interpretive ranger to learn a little aout constellations in the night sky. Together we will explore some folklore about a few of these amazing images, and make some constellatins of our own ising flashlights and other hands on materials.

Solar ovens and park scavenger hunt
    Come marvel at our magnificent sun as we build some simple solar ovens and give them a test run as we attempt to brake some chocolate chip cookies. While we wait, you will learn more about the parl and planets and animals that call this park home as you particapate in a lively scavenger hunt around the park.
