Event Description:


Four days filled with family fun. This annual festival has a carnival and many vendors from around the country as part of the weekend. Other GOWD traditions include the annual dance, a parade through downtown and a draft horse show and jackpot feed competition.

Memorial Day ceremonies - Craig Cemetery - Ashley Rd.
Street Festival - 400 & 500 blocks of Yampa Ave.

Kickoff concert with the Blaine Mitchell Band
    8 p.m. at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena

Parade (sponsored by the Downtown business Association)
Brown's Amusement Carnival
Community BBQ
Bronc Riding
Mini Bronc Riding
Sheep hooking
Barn dance featuring live music by County Red

Sunday, May 26
Cowboy Church - 8 a.m.
Brown's Amusement Carnival
3rd Annual MC Working Farm Draft Horse Show & Feed Team Race
Wild Game Chili Cook Off - noon

Monday, May 27
VFW & American Legion Memorial Day ceremonies - 11 a.m.
Street Festival Downtown: Monday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Live music all day
Food and craft vendors
Kids activities
Pie eating contest
