Applications are now being excepted by the Craig Daily Press for the Bessie Minor Swift Foundation grant program.
The program awards grants that promote literacy, ready and writing skills and programs in the languages, science and interdisciplinary areas. Applications from nonprofit organizations, certified as tax exempt, will be accepted. Grand applications ranging from $500 to $300 will be considered.
Grant application deadline is Wed., Feb. 15. Approved application announcement will be Mon., May 1.
